Alfred: 62 Years old, father of 11. Only 7 still alive. Hails from Colesberg where his family roots are. Father was brick maker and taught his sons.  Since 1959 Alfred has been making clay bricks. He will show and explain the process. Alfred is also source of the “Meet the People Cares” project where we are building a care center for neglected and abused children. In regards to a generous donation to the Syanithanda project in Qwanonqaba Township. Meet the People Cares and its staff wish to thank Violet and friends for collecting and donating a bulk sum of £770.00.

There was a presentation and a photo shoot on Thursday, May 08, 2008 where Debra Willboughby, Richard Mellors and Jauckie Viljoen handed over the donation. The children sang and danced in appreciation and made the lovely poster you can see on the wall in the photos.

A special thank you to Bob Wade and his Rotary Club for collecting Violet's donation and sending it to South Africa with their donations to save on banking charges.
